Its mission is to serve the needs of the LGBTQ+ community and its partners by organizing community events, activities, entertainment, and celebrations of diversity. With a strong commitment to unity and inclusivity, Mid-South Pride strives to inspire, educate, commemorate, and unify the diverse communities that make up the LGBTQ+ spectrum.

Through a dedication to producing various events throughout the year and coordinating official Pride-related events, Mid-South Pride aims to foster a sense of togetherness and create spaces where everyone can express their true selves. The organization envisions a future where all LGBTQ+ citizens can proudly embrace their identities without fear of discrimination, where equal rights are protected, and where social, cultural, and legal equality is guaranteed for all humankind.

As a member of InterPride (International Association of Pride Organizers) and IFEA (International Festival and Events Association), Mid-South Pride is part of a global network that shares the passion for promoting LGBTQ+ rights and creating meaningful experiences for the community.

Mid-South Pride is a non-profit organization, and any surplus funds raised are dedicated to supporting the LGBTQ+ community and future events. The organization is proud to be self-sufficient, relying on the generous support of individuals, businesses, and socially responsible organizations rather than public funding.
